Data deletion

This page explains how to remove LessonGrid account data and what information may still be retained for security, legal reasons, or future purchase records if optional paid features are introduced later.

1. Delete your LessonGrid account

  1. Email your deletion request to [email protected] from the email address associated with your LessonGrid account.
  2. Include the subject line Account deletion request.
  3. If we need to verify the request, we may ask for additional confirmation before removing access.

2. Delete local app data from your device

Some browsing preferences, onboarding selections, cached files, and downloaded app content may be stored locally on your device. You can remove that local data by uninstalling the app or clearing the app’s local storage through your device settings, where supported.

3. What information may still be retained

When you request deletion, we aim to remove or de-identify account-linked data that is no longer needed. However, we may retain limited records where necessary for:

  • Financial record-keeping if optional paid features are introduced and used later.
  • Tax, accounting, chargeback, or fraud prevention obligations.
  • Security logs and incident investigation.
  • Compliance with legal requests or applicable law.

4. Processing timeline

We will process deletion requests within a reasonable period after verification. Timing may vary based on support load and the need to preserve limited records for legal or financial reasons.
